MC570 Barrel Extension Kit
ASSA ABLOY have developed the new Cylinder Extension Kit for applications where an extended 50mm cylinder is required with a security profile plug.
The solid brass extension component is designed to fit directly onto the back of a standard length 570 barrel / plug, extending it to then be used in an MC570-50SC (50mm) cylinder. The cylinder cam is then attached via the extended cam screws supplied, to complete the assembly.
The main benefit to the user is that there is no longer a requirement to order and stock special length plugs for 50mm cylinders.
